Hi, I'm Celena
I am a Metro Detroit based photographer that resides in downtown Plymouth with my husband and rescue pup. I have adhd, so I’ll keep this short.
My style blends natural light with both posed and candid moments to capture the genuine expression of joy and connection. My approach is all about embracing the beauty of everyday life which means I stay away from heavy editing and colored presets.
When I'm not behind the camera, I am planning my next adventure. My homebody husband learned very quickly that he married a super social extrovert that can’t sit still. I love the dopamine rush from trying something new, whether it’s stepping into an over the top Tiki bar to trying a new (decaf) coffee or just walking a different street in my neighborhood. I relax when I’m busy. I fill my time baking sweet treats, working on jigsaw puzzles, building legos, knitting, and trying my best to keep my plants alive. We are childfree but I am lucky to be an Aunt.

random fact about me
I worked at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida giving hair wraps and temparary tattoos to tourists.
As we prepared for our daughter's adoption, we knew we wanted to mark the special occasion for her to. She was look back onas she grew. Celena became a part of our day and captured our family's special moment with an eye for details and artistic element. She was a professional from start to finish and we look forward to working with her again.
