Afternoon on Belle Isle

On a cold winter day, my husband and I bundled up and ventured to the Belle Isle Botanical Gardens in Michigan. Despite the chill in the air, the lush greenery and warmth inside the conservatory offered a cozy escape from the frost outside. We wandered through tropical plants, admired vibrant blooms, and marveled at how peaceful and quiet the space felt in the heart of winter. It was a serene and memorable way to spend the day together, surrounded by nature’s beauty while the snow quietly blanketed the island beyond the glass walls.
